2. For submersible slurry pumps with rubber lining, adjust the bolt nut to move the bearing assembly forward, allowing the impeller to contact the front liner. Then, move the bearing assembly backward to allow the impeller to contact the back liner. Measure the displacement of the bearing assembly and consider this value as the general clearance between the impeller and the front/back liners. Use the adjustment bolt to fine-tune the position of the bearing assembly, ensuring the correct clearance between the impeller and the liners.
